completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balances, replacing filters.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.<\/li>\n<li>Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety and combustion control standards.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.<\/li>\n<li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.<\/li>\n<li>Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in the operation of a variety of tools and equipment used in the automotive repair.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze and repair mechanical failures.<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge of automotive repair.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively and establish good working relationships with other employees.<\/li>\n<li>Must have own tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>2 years of experience repairing\/maintaining equipment<\/li>\n<li>Basic Equipment Industry training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>*APPLY IN-PERSON:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>120 INTERSTATE PARK | SPARTANBURG, SC 29303*<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ATCHISON TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, INC. 120 INTERSTATE PARK SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA 29303 864-595-1234 &nbsp;
